Post Graduate Political Science department of Haflong Government College was established in 1999 with an aim of providing advanced learning in a specialised discipline and help the students to become expert in a particular field of study. Since its inception, the Department has been successful in mentoring the students and enabling them to complete their Post Graduation . The founder teachers of the Department were Mrs. Tapoti Langthasa, Mrs.Kakoli Khersa and Mrs.Mousumi Paul Choudhury. The intake capacity of the department is 50 students.
Courses offered: Two Years Post Graduate Course.
